The choice of champions
Founded in 1971, the Pierrefonds Figure Skating Club (Deux Rives Figure Skating Club since 1998) has earned a highly enviable reputation. Established at the Pierrefonds Sportplexe since 1998, the Club brings together more than 500 skaters. In addition to the quality of its organization and coaches, it is the success of its athletes that has earned the club the reputation it enjoys on a provincial, Canadian and international scale. One of the club?s most famous skaters is, unquestionably, David Pelletier who, with his partner Jamie Salé, won the gold medal in the Pairs event at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Dedicated administrators, coaches and volunteers combined with a passion for figure skating are the key ingredients in the winning formula of the Deux Rives Figure Skating Club, proud partner of the Pierrefonds Sportplexe.
